Have the inspection camera repaired only through aqualified repair person and only using identical re-placement parts. This will ensure that the safety of the in-spection camera is maintained. Do not operate the inspection camera in explosive at-mospheres, such as in the presence of flammable liq-uids, gases or dusts. Sparks can be created in the inspec-tion camera which may ignite the dust or fumes. Before any work on the inspection camera itself (e.g.assembling, maintenance, etc.) as well as when trans-porting and storing, remove the battery from the in-spection camera. Do not open the battery. Danger of short-circuiting.Protect the battery against heat, e. g., againstcontinuous intense sunlight, fire, water, andmoisture. Danger of explosion. When battery pack is not in use, keep it away from oth-er metal objects like paper clips, coins, keys, nails, screws, or other small metal objects that can make aconnection from one terminal to another. Shorting thebattery terminals together may cause burns or a fire. Under abusive conditions, liquid may be ejected fromthe battery; avoid contact. If contact accidentally oc-curs, flush with water. If liquid contacts eyes, addition-ally seek medical help. Liquid ejected from the batterymay cause irritations or burns. In case of damage and improper use of the battery, va-pours may be emitted. Ventilate the area and seekmedical help in case of complaints. The vapours can irri-tate the respiratory system. Recharge only with the charger specified by the manu-facturer. A charger that is suitable for one type of batterypack may create a risk of fire when used with another bat-tery pack. Use the battery only together with your Bosch inspec-tion camera. This is the only way to protect the batteryagainst dangerous overload. Use only original Bosch batteries with the voltage list-ed on the nameplate of your inspection camera. Whenusing other batteries, e.g. imitations, reconditioned bat-teries or other brands, there is danger of injury as well asproperty damage through exploding batteries. After the automatic shut-off of the inspection camera,do not continue to press the On/Off button. The batterycould become damaged. Do not direct the light beam at persons or animals anddo not stare into the light beam yourself (not even froma distance). Check the working range before using the inspectioncamera. No part of the inspection camera may come in-to contact with electrical lines, moving parts or chemi-cal substances. Interrupt the power circuit of electricallines in the working range. These measures reduce therisk of explosion, electric shock and property damage. Wear appropriate protective equipment such as safetyglasses/goggles, protective gloves or respirator whenmaterials that are hazardous to one’s health are in theworking range. Sewer lines or similar areas can containsolid, liquid or gaseous substances, which may be toxic, in-fectious, caustic or otherwise hazard to one’s health.
