Reduce the orbital stroke rate and thesanding pressure, and allow the sanding sheet to cool downregularly.A sanding sheet that has been used for metal should not beused for other materials.Use only original Bosch sanding accessories. For sanding, always connect the dust extraction.ScrapingFor scraping, select a high oscillation rate.Work on a soft surface (e.g. wood) at a flat ange, and apply onlylight pressure. Otherwise the scraper can cut into the surface.Temperature Dependent Overload ProtectionWhen using as intended for, the machine cannot be overload-ed. In case of excessive loading or when exceeding the allow-able battery temperature range of 0–70 °C, the speed is re-duced or the machine switches off. In case of reduced speed, the machine will not run at full speed until after reaching theallowable battery temperature again. In case of automaticshut-off, switch the machine off, allow the battery to cooldown and then switch the machine on again.Recommendations for Optimal Handling of the BatteryProtect the battery against moisture and water.Store the battery only within a temperature range between0 °C and 50 °C. As an example, do not leave the battery in thecar in summer.A significantly reduced working period after charging indi-cates that the battery is used and must be replaced.Observe the notes for disposal.Maintenance and ServiceMaintenance and Cleaning Before any work on the machine itself (e. g. mainte-nance, tool change, etc.) as well as during transportand storage, remove the battery from the power tool. There is danger of injury when unintentionally actuatingthe On/Off switch. For safe and proper working, always keep the machineand ventilation slots clean.Clean Riff application tools (accessory) regularly with a wirebrush. If the machine should fail despite the care taken in manufac-turing and testing procedures, repair should be carried out byan after-sales service centre for Bosch power tools. In all correspondence and spare parts order, please always in-clude the 10-digit article number given on the type plate ofthe machine.After-sales Service and Application ServiceOur after-sales service responds to your questions concern-ing maintenance and repair of your product as well as spareparts.
