Hot bulb may shatter whencooler liquids are contacted.Recharge only with the charger specifiedby the manufacturer. A charger that issuitable for one type of battery pack maycreate a risk of fire when used with anotherbattery pack.Use the battery only in conjunction withyour Bosch product. This measure aloneprotects the battery against dangerousoverload.Use only original Bosch recommendedbatteries. When using other batteries, e. g.imitations, reconditioned batteries or otherbrands, there is danger of injury as well asproperty damage through explodingbatteries.When battery pack is not in use, keep itaway from other metal objects like paperclips, coins, keys, nails, screws, or othersmall metal objects, that can make aconnection from one terminal to another.Shorting the battery terminals together maycause burns or a fire.The battery can be damaged by pointedobjects such as nails or screwdrivers orby force applied externally. An internalshort circuit can occur and the battery canburn, smoke, explode or overheat.Under abusive conditions, liquid may beejected from the battery; avoid contact. Ifcontact accidentally occurs, flush withwater. If liquid contacts eyes, additionallyseek medical help. Liquid ejected from thebattery may cause irritation or burns.In case of damage and improper use ofthe battery, vapours may be emitted.Ventilate the area and seek medical helpin case of complaints. The vapours canirritate the respiratory system.The worklight is ruggedly constructed. Itshould, however, be handled with care.Check the charge level at least once amonth, especially if used for emergencypurposes.
