14Programming aburner to turn offautomaticallyCooking timerEnter a certain time for the required burner. When theprogrammed time has elapsed, the burner will go outautomatically.The burner must be alight.1. Touch the 0 symbol once. The display will show thefollowing image: ‹‹V.2. Touch the 0 symbol a second time. The display willbriefly show your hob set-up . Then touch the 0symbol to select the required burner.3. Having selected the required burner, touch the - or +symbols in the following 5 seconds to programme therequired time.This sequence may be used to programme any burner onyour hob. YOU MAY ONLY HAVE 2 BURNERSPROGRAMMED AT A TIME.The programme will start after a few seconds or when youselect another burner.The display will always show the time remaining for thefirst programme to finish.When the programmed timehas elapsedWhen the programmed time has elapsed, the burnergoes out, a beep sounds for 30 seconds, ‹‹Ú is shownon the right of the display and on the left the dots movearound.Touch any symbol and the beep stops and the displaygoes out.TURN THE CONTROL KNOB TO THE 0 SETTING FORTHE BURNERS THAT HAVE BEEN SWITCHED OFF BYTHE TIMER.Changing the programmedtime Touch the 0 symbol, select the burner and change thetime using the - or + symbols in the following 5 seconds.The new time programmed will begin after a few seconds.Cancelling the programme Touch the 0 symbol, select the burner and change thetime to ‹‹ Ú using the - or + symbols.The indicator disappears after a few seconds or will showthe time remaining in the following programme.Notes The timer function does not continue after a power failure.It can programme a duration of up to 99 minutes.If you want to check the programmed times, you can viewall the programmes by touching the 0 symbol.Ú ÚÚÚ Ú ‹‹
