5m Safety precautionsRead these instructions carefully. Readingthese instructions will enable you to useyour appliance safely and effectively.All operations relating to installation,regulation and conversion to other types ofgas must be carried out by an authorisedinstallation engineer, respecting theapplicable regulations, standards and thespecifications of the local gas andelectricity providers. You are recommendedto contact the Technical Assistance Serviceto convert to another type of gas.Before installing your new hob, ensure thatit is being installed according to theassembly instructions.This appliance can only be installed in awell-ventilated place in accordance withexisting regulations and ventilationspecifications. The appliance must not beconnected to a combustion productremoval device.This appliance has been designed forhome use only, not for commercial orprofessional use. This appliance cannot beinstalled on yachts or in caravans. Thewarranty will only be valid if the appliance isused for the purpose for which it wasdesigned.The place in which the appliance isinstalled must have fully-functioningventilation, in accordance with theregulations.Do not subject the appliance to draughts.These might blow out the burners.This appliance leaves the factory set to thetype of gas that is indicated on thespecifications plate. If this needs to bechanged, please consult the assemblyinstructions.Do not tamper with the appliance's interior.If necessary, call our Technical AssistanceService.Keep the operation and installationinstructions and provide them along withthe appliance if it is passed on to anotheruser.Do not switch on the appliance if it isdamaged in any way. Contact ourTechnical Assistance Service.The surfaces of cooking appliances heatup during operation. Care must be takenwhen using these appliances. Keepchildren well away from this appliance.This appliance is only intended for cookingpurposes, not as a heating system.Fat or oil which is overheated can catch fireeasily. Do not leave oil or fats to heat upunattended. If oil or fats do catch fire, neveruse water to put the fire out. Risk of burns!Put the fire out by covering the pan with alid and switch off the hotplate.In the event of a malfunction, turn off theappliance’s gas and electricity supply. Forrepairs, call our Technical AssistanceService.If one of the control knobs will not turn, donot force it. Call the Technical AssistanceService immediately, so that they can repairor replace it.Never place unstable pans on the hob orthe burners, as they may accidentally tipover.While using your hob, prevent any draughtsand do not spill any cold liquids on it, asthis may cause the glass to break.Do not clean the hob using a steamcleaner. Risk of electrocution!This appliance is class 3 type, according tothe EN 30-1-1 standard for gas appliances:built-in appliance.Do not store or use corrosive chemicals,steamers, inflammable materials or non-food products below or near this domesticappliance.
