Observe burner flames during heater operation. (frontcover must be removed). Inspect the combustion air inlet pipe forblockage or debris. Inspect combustion air and exhaust terminationsfor blockage or debrisCombustion Chamber• Inspect burner observation window (Fig.71, #14) for cracks orspillage of flue gases. Observe burner flames during heater operation.Flames should be steady and blue with no signs of yellowing. Yellowburner flames are an indication of improper combustion. Refer to+DANGER:▶ Always shut off the electrical power supply, shut offthe manual gas valve and shut off the water valveswhenever servicing.NOTICE:▶ Inspect and clean the complete water heating systemonce a year.▶ Carry out a maintenance as necessary.
