Check whether the left-hand opening of the disketteis closed. If not, close the opening using the slideron the bottom of the diskette.2. With the label facing upwards, insert the disketteinto the diskette drive until it clicks into place.5.1.2 Removing the diskette:! The activity light on the diskette drive must not beon.1. Press the diskette eject button. The diskette is ejected from the drive and can beremoved.2. After removal, open the slider to write-protect thediskette.5.2 Handling CDs/DVDs5.2.1 Correct handling of a CD/DVD¶ Only insert the DVD-ROM in the DVD drive if youhave clean hands that are free of grease!¶ Do not touch the unlabelled side of the DVD.¶ Do not write on the DVD and do not place any stick-ers on it.¶ Never use solvents, such as benzine or paint thinner,record cleaner or antistatic compounds, to clean adirty DVD.¶ Wipe off any fingerprints or dust carefully with a softcloth, working from the center to the outside edge.¶ The DVD is unable to withstand high temperatures ordirect sunlight.5.2.2 Inserting a CD/DVD1.
