RULES FOR SAFE OPERATION• Refer to your RTXTM instruction manual for safe operation.• Always wear eye protection.• Do not put excessive force on either end of tool.• Always turn off switch and disconnect from power supply before changing bits, makingadjustments and changing attachments.• Make sure tool switch is in OFF position before plugging into power supply.• Be sure the RTXTM Clamp is securely clamped to the work surface. Keep locking knobs tightexcept when adjusting tilt angle.• The RTXTM Clamp knobs are designed to be hand tightened only. Never strike them with ahammer or other tool to tighten. NOTE : N’exercez pas une pression de plus de dix livres surl’outil RTXTM. Pour tourner le serre-joint, desserrez le collier illustré à la Figure 2, tournez leporte-outil à la position désirée et resserrez le collier.La Figure 3 montre une opération de sablage typique. AVERTISSEMENT : Si vousutilisez le serre-joint RTXTM à cet effet, il est important de bien maintenir la pièce de travail.Si cette dernière est trop petite pour être maintenue solidement et en toute sécurité, il ne fautpas appliquer cette méthode.La Figure 4 montre l’utilisation du serre-joint RTXTM en position inversée avec l’arbre flexibleaccessoire, nº de catalogue RT5100.NETTOYAGEPour nettoyer les pièces de métal et de plastique du serre-joint, utilisez seulement du savondoux et un chiffon trempé dans l’eau chaude. Séchez bien les pièces métalliques. NOTE: Do not exceed ten pounds of downwardpressure on the rotary tool. To rotate the clamp, loosen the collar shown in Fig. 2, turn the toolholder to the desired position and re-tighten the collar.Figure 3 illustrates a typical sanding operation. WARNING: When using the rotary tool inthis mode it is important to hold the workpiece firmly. Dry metal parts thoroughly.
