SWITCHING ON AND OFF (FIGURE F)WARNING: USE BOTHHANDS TO GRIP THE PRODUCT FIRMLYWHEN SWITCHING ON.To switch the sweeper on, slide the on/offswitch forward .To switch the sweeper off, slide the on/offswitch back.CAUTION: DO NOT POINT UNIT DISCHARGE ATSELF OR BYSTANDERS.MAINTENANCECLEANING AND STORAGECAUTION: DO NOT POUR OR SPRAY WATERON THE UNIT.Use only mild soap and a damp cloth to clean the unit. Never letany liquid get inside the unit; never immerse any part of the unitinto a liquid.Your sweeper should be stored in a dry place. Do not store the uniton or adjacent to fertilizers or chemicals. Such storage can causerapid corrosion of the metal parts.7ASSEMBLYNOTE: Ensure the sweeper is switched off and the battery isremoved before attaching or removing the sweeper tubes. Theinner tube must be assembled to the housing before use.• TUBE ASSEMBLY: To attach the inner tube to the sweeper, lineup the tube with the sweeper housing as shown in figure D.Push the tube into the sweeper housing until the lock buttonengages the lock hole in the tube. Repeat this process for theouter tube.OPERATIONCAUTION: Always wearsafety glasses. Wear a filter mask if theoperation is dusty. Use of gloves, longpants and substantial footwear isrecommended. Keep long hair and looseclothing away from openings and movingparts. THIS SWEEPER IS FORHOUSEHOLD USE ONLY.• Hold the sweeper with one hand asshown in figure E and sweep from side toside with the nozzle several inches abovethe ground. Slowly advance keeping theaccumulated pile of debris in front of you.EFD
