Extension cord can be used, such as “Useextension cord marked SJW-A, SJEW-A, or SJTW-A only”, or the equivalent.3. Use only extension cords which have plugs and receptacles which accept theproduct’s plug. Replace or repair damaged cords.4. The electrical rating of the extension cord must be as great as the electricalrating of the product.5. Don’t Abuse Cord – Never carry product by cord or yank it to disconnect fromreceptacle. Keep cord from heat, oil, and sharp edges.6. Disconnect the product from the power supply when not in use, beforeservicing, when changing bulbs, cleaning, and similar actions.7. Do not insert foreign objects into this product.8. Outdoor extension cords must be used with outdoor use products and aresurface marked with suffix letters “W-A” and with a tag stating “Suitable for Usewith Outdoor Appliances”.9. The connection to an extension cord should be kept dry and off the ground.10. Store products indoors when not in use – out of reach of children.11. Do not clean this product with a water spray or similar method.12. The product should only be connected to a circuit that is protected by aground-fault circuit-interrupter (GFCI).13. Any other servicing should be performed by a service representative.14. If the unit is malfunctioning, unplug it and contact the manufacturer.15. Do not place unit in an area where it can fall into water or near flammablematerials.16. Avoid looking directly into the UV light. Skin or Eye damage may result fromdirectly viewing the light produced by the lamp in this apparatus.17. Insects accumulating within base of the unit may contribute to fire. Clean deadinsects from unit frequently as noted in this manual.18. Lamps are replaceable by user.
