8 1MAINTENANCEYour Black & Decker tool has been designed tooperate over a long period of time with a minimumof maintenance. Continuous satisfactory operationdepends upon proper tool care and regular cleaning.Warning! Before performing any maintenance orcleaning of the tool, unplug the unit from the powersupply.• From time to time wipe the appliance with a dampcloth. Do not use any abrasive or solvent-basedcleaner. Do not immerse the appliance in water.Replacing the fuse in the dc accessoryplug• Remove the grooved cap by turning it counterclockwise.• Remove the rubber washer, centre pin and thespring.• Remove the fuse.• Fit a new fuse of the same type and size (5A).• Install the centre pin, spring and rubber washer.• Install the grooved cap by turning it clockwise ontothe plug.PROTECTING THE ENVIRONMENTCorrect disposal of this productThis marking indicates that this productshould not be disposed with otherhousehold waste.
