2ENGLISHBathroom radioOPERATE:Before inserting batteries, double-check if the seal of the battery compartment is properly seated intothe corresponding slot and has not been moved or damaged. If the seal shows any visible damage,the radio will no longer be fully waterproof and must not come into contact with water or any otherliquids. The dotted lines on the battery compartment cover and on the device housing must be locatedside by side.To open the battery compartment, proceed as following:1. Make sure that the radio is turned off. To do this, the duck head must be rotated until the beakpoints to OFF.2. Use a common size no. 2 Phillips screwdriver to open the battery compartment on the bottom. It isonly necessary to loosen the screws until the cover can be removed. The screws will be retained inthe cover.3. Insert the batteries. Be sure to match up the polarities. The polarities are indicated by the + and –symbols on the batteries and inside the battery compartment of the radio.4. Place the cover onto the battery compartment. Make sure that the dotted lines on the cover and onthe device housing are located side by side. Then tighten the screws.Turning the radio on and adjusting the volume- Rotate the duck head clockwise to power the radio on. This will adjust the audio volume at thesame time.- Keep turning the head clockwise to increase the sound volume.- Turn the head counterclockwise to lower the volume.Tuning into a station:1. Turn on the bathroom radio and adjust the volume.2. Use the band selection switch to choose the desired frequency band: Press “AM” for medium waveand “FM” for frequency modulation stations.3.
