Filling ProcedureAfter every cartridge exchange, some air willbe trapped in the system. Air should bepurged before routine use by the followingprocedure:1. Place a container or suitable drainunder the outlet valve.2. Open all inlet valves and the outletvalve.3. Depress vent button on top of head toremove air.4. When there is a steady flow from theoutlet valve, close the outlet valve.5. If using a resistivity meter, plug intoelectrical service.6. Open the outlet valve and allow waterto flow through the system untildesired purity is reached.13INITIAL OPERATIONNoteWhen using a submicron filter,hold purge button (red button onholder head) down until a steadyflow of water is observed. Checkall fittings for leaks and tighten asnecessary. |
