nook User Guide 88Device SettingsResetting SettingsThere are two levels of settings resets, geared to different situations: Reset settings to factory defaults only. There is no de-registration or content removal. Thisdoes remove settings for a manually configured Wi-Fi hotspot.This might be useful in two situations: First, if you have customized a number of settingsand decide to undo all of the changes. Second, if some settings change causes trouble, butyou are not certain which one. Reset settings to factory defaults, de-register your nook, and delete all content (B&Ncontent and personal content) from the device.This is the approach to use if you are selling or giving the nook to someone elsepermanently, for their use.
