BeoCom 1401RINGING SIGNALBeoCom 1401 has 10 different settingsfor the ringing signal, consisting of 3levels, 3 melodies and the ringing signaldisconnected.SETTING THE RINGING SIGNALPress EnterPressPress 0-9 to select a settingPress EnterWhen the ringing signal is disconnected(setting 0), it is automaticallyreconnected the first time you lift offthe handset and place it in the baseagain.ADJUSTING THE VOLUMEDuring a call, you can adjust thehandset volume in 5 steps by pressingthe + and – buttons. All calls start atthe medium volume level.Press + to increase the volumePress – to decrease the volumeREDIALLINGPress Rdl to redial the last numbercalledNumbers with up to 31 digits can bememorized.Numbers stored in memory cannot becalled by pressing Rdl.In order to ensure that the lastnumber called is stored correctly inthe memory of BeoCom 1401 and canbe redialled by pressing Rdl, thehandset must have been placed inthe base (or the switch off key on thebottom side of the handset pressed)for at least 1 second.MICROPHONEPress to mute themicrophoneA beeping signal in the handsetindicates that the microphone ismuted.Press to connect themicrophonePlease note!
