The bamix will stay longer “fit” if you oil it every few months. Forthis use an acid-free oil (e.g. vaseline oil, obtainable at a chemist’s).Hold the bamix upside down with the cutter guard facing you, put2 or 3 drops of oil on the drive shaft, and switch on the appliancefor 2 to 3 minutes. Afterwards rinse the appliance in hot water.Cleaning and careCleaning is very easy. Remove the attachment and clean it. It isenough to clean the chromium-plated part of the appliance afterevery use under running water (do not switch on). The easiest wayto clean off bits of food which have stuck to bamix is to hold it ina jug with hot water and switch it on. Take care that the switchdoes not come in contact with water.Important: Clean the appliance as soon as you have finishedworking, to prevent the drive shaft getting clogged.ReceptaclesYou can work in any receptacle, even directly in a pan on thestove. Use small receptacles for small amounts and largereceptacles for larger amounts. Narrow, high receptacles aremore suitable for working in than wide, shallow ones.Push the attachment as straight as possible on to the stub in sucha way that the drive pin on the stub fits exactly into the small recessin the socket of the attachment. The attachment is designed tomake this process easy. The attachment is removed by simplypulling it off from the stub. For protection please use a cloth.Careful: For safety’s sake, when you exchange the attachmentsalways pull out the plug.Putting on and exchanging the attachments
