OPERATIONBLENDER SOLUTION CONTROL BUTTONSOFF shuts off themachine.HIGH runs the BlenderSolution™ at high speed. Thisspeed should be used for thefinal stages of mixing. Do notuse this speed for dispensing.LOW runs the BlenderSolution™ at low speed.This speed should be usedfor the initial 30 secondsof mixing as well as fordispensing.PULSE runs theBlender Solution™at high speed.MEDIUM runs the BlenderSolution™ at medium speed.ON turns on themachine.BLENDER OPERATION1. Assemble the blender blade base onto the glass mixing jar.2. Add ingredients to the mixing jar and replace the lid. You may addmore ingredients through the hole in the center of the lid. (Note: Addliquid ingredients first, then add frozen or solid ingredients. This will preventexcessive wear and stress on the motor.) Cover the hole with the clear lidcap or stir stick during operation.3. TO START BLENDING: Choose a speed for blending the ingredients on thedial switch and then press the ON button.4. TO STOP BLENDING: To stop the blending process, push the OFF button.5. PULSE MODE: The PULSE button allows you to create short burstsof power. To use the PULSE function, repeatedly push and releasethe PULSE button. The PULSE function should be used in the initialstage of blending ice and frozen ingredients for smoothies and otherfrozen drinks. The PULSE function should also be used to break apartlarger pieces of food or to control the texture of food when chunkier resultsare desired.9
