Do not beconcerned, this could be because of evaporation of the natural oils ofthe hair, residual hair products (leave-in hair products, hairspray, etc.) orexcess moisture evaporating from your hair.• A heat-protection spray can be used to provide optimal protection of thehair.• Plug in the appliance, switch on and select the desired temperatureusing the 0-I-II switch. See table below:Temperature Hair type(I): 185°C Fine, bleached and/or damaged hair(II): 205°C Normal, thick hairwavy or dyed• The indicator light comes on and will start to flash.• The indicator light will stop flashing when the appliance has heatedup to the selected temperature.
