ASUS Xonar HDAV .34. Installing software4.1 Installing the card driverEnsure that you have installed the VGA card driver before installing the XonarHDAV driver. Otherwise, driver installation error may occur.. After you have installed the Xonar HDAV card, turn on your computer.Windows ® automatically detects the HDAV card and searches for devicedrivers. When prompted for the drivers, click Cancel.2. Insert the support CD into the optical drive. If Autorun is enabled in yoursystem, the setup starts automatically. If not, run setup.exe from yoursupport CD.3. The installation program will remind you to make sure you have connectedthe additional power cable from your power supply unit to the card. If thepower cable is not connected properly, the card will not work at all. If it hasnot been done, turn off the computer to install the power cable before you goon the installation process.4. Follow the instructions on the screen to complete the installation. Read the“END USER LICENCE AGREEMENT” in the process and make sure youunderstand and accept it before you continue the installation. When theinstallation finishes, you may be prompted to restart your computer. You canchoose to restart the computer later if desired.
