Safety informationYour Chromebit is designed and tested to meet thelatest standards of safety for information technologyequipment. However, to ensure your safety, it is importantthat you read the following safety instructions.Setting up your system• Read and follow all instructions in thedocumentation before you operate your system.• Do not use this product near water or a heatedsource.• Make sure you leave plenty of space around thesystem for ventilation.• Use this product in environments with ambienttemperatures between 1˚C (33.8˚F) and 35˚C (95˚F).• If you use an extension cord, make sure that thetotal ampere rating of the devices plugged into theextension cord does not exceed its ampere rating.• This equipment should be installed and operatedwith a minimum distance of 20cm between theradiator and your body.• If you notice any of the following conditions (or ifyou have other safety concerns), do not use yourdevice: crackling, hissing, popping sound, or astrong odor or smoke coming from your device. Itis normal for these conditions to appear when aninternal electronic component fails in a safe andcontrolled manner. However, these conditionsmay also indicate a potential safety issue. Do notassume that it is a safe failure. Turn off your device.If your device is plugged in, disconnect it from itspower source, and contact technical support forassistance. |
