Use jumper blocksto short the pins to your desired setting.CAUTION:Make sure to correctly place the jumper blocks over thepins. Failure to do so may cause irreparable damage to the drive!Master ModeCover the two pins below the label MA to set theCD-RW drive as a Secondary Master drive. This ispossible only if your computer supports four IDEdevices. The hard disk in the computer is set asPrimary Master.Slave ModeCover the two pins below the label SL to set theCD-RW drive as a Slave device if your computersupports only two IDE devices.If your computer supports four IDE devices, thissetting sets your CD-RW drive as a Primary Slaveor Secondary Slave.Cable Select ModeCover the two pins below the label CS if yourcomputer supports a Cable Select (CSEL) signal.You need an exclusive interface cable for thissetting.
