The battery pack’s usefullife will depend on your environment temperature, humidity, andhow your Eee PC is used. It is ideal that the battery be used in atemperature range between 5˚C and 35˚C (41˚F and 95˚F). Youmust also take into account that the Eee PC’s internal temperatureis higher than the outside temperature. Any temperatures above orbelow this range will shorten the life of the battery. But in any case,the battery pack’s usage time will eventually decrease and a newbattery pack must be purchased from an authorized dealer for thisEee PC. Because batteries also have a shelf life, it is not recommendedto buy extras for storing.Power ModeYour Eee PC is equipped with a smart power system. The power-saving Battery mode lowers down the CPU frequency and decreasesthe power consumption to maximize the battery life. The AC modeenables the CPU to run at the full speed and to obtain the bestperformance.
