The warranty period begins on the proved purchasedate, or if applicable, date of delivery or date of acceptancereport. The manufacturer’s sole obligation under this expresswarranty shall be, at the manufacturer’ sole option andexpense, to replace or repair the Product or part, or refund thepurchase price paid for the Product. The manufacturer warrantsany repaired or replaced Product or part for a period of ninety(90) days from shipment, or through the end of the original war-ranty, whichever is longer. All Products or parts that arereplaced become the property of the manufacturer. This expresswarranty does neither cover consumables, such as batteries,bulbs and fuses, nor third party products.OBTAINING WARRANTY SERVICECustomer must contact an authorized service center of the man-ufacturer within the applicable warranty period to obtain war-ranty service authorization. Dated proof of original purchasefrom the manufacturer’s authorized distributor and a descriptionof the defect will be required. The manufacturer is not responsi-ble for Products or parts received without a warranty serviceauthorization. Repaired or replacement Products will be shippedto Customer at the manufacturer’s expense. The repaired prod-uct or part will be shipped as soon as reasonably possible. Themanufacturer shall not be responsible for any damages occur-ring during such shipment. For Products forming part of a fixedinstallation, such place of performance shall be the site of suchinstallation and the manufacturer shall have the right to chargefor additional costs for such services under warranty if the siteof the Product is other than where the Product was originallyshipped or installed.WARRANTY EXCLUSIVECustomer’s sole remedy for breach of the warranty shall be theexpress warranty. The foregoing warranty is exclusive and is inlieu of all other warranties, terms, or conditions, express orimplied, either in fact or by operation of law, statutory or other-wise, including warranties, terms or conditions of merchantabili-ty, fitness for a particular purpose, satisfactory quality and non-infringement, all of which are expressly disclaimed.
