PCA-6187 Userís Manual 303.4 Advanced BIOS FeaturesThe ìAdvanced BIOS Featuresî screen appears when choosing theìAdvanced BIOS Featuresî item from the ìInitial Setup Screenî menu. Itallows the user to configure the PCA-6187 according to his particularrequirements. Below are some major items that are provided in theAdvanced BIOS Features screen. A quick booting function is providedfor your convenience. Simply enable the Quick Booting item to saveyourself valuable time3.4.1 CPU FeaturesWhile using Prescott core CPU, the "CPU Features" will show up for userto adjust the value of "Delay Prior to Thermal" and "Limit CPUID Max-Val". The "Delay Prior to Thermal" can select the period if user wants tolower the CPU speed when CPU temperature is too high. The choices are:"4 Min", "8 Min", "16 Min" and "32 Min".
