InstructionsMegaTronXS pH/ORP Upgrade InstructionsMegaTronXS controllers are designed to allow for the field installation of additional different system,communication or 4-20mA cards. These instructions are designed to guide you through the process ofupgrading your MegaTronXS with pH and ORP.Warning! Unplug the controller from all incomingpower before working on the controller!BNC Connector Installation1. Locate the two small knockouts on the side of theMegatronXS box.2. Drill a hole into both of the small knockouts with a 3/8in. or #10 drill bit.3. Pull both the black and red wires, attached to oneof the BNC connectors, through the holes in theMegatronXS box. The wires should go into the box,leaving the BNC connector flush to the exterior boxsurface.4. Slide the fastening nut over the red and black wiresand onto the threads of the BNC connector.5. Tighten the fastening nut onto the threads of the BNCconnector.6. Repeat steps 3 through 6 for the next BNC connector.System Card Installation1. Loosen the four display panel screws.2. Remove the faceplate.Note: Allow the faceplate to hang down onto the lowersection of the MegatronXS box.3. Remove the green connectors from the top of thecurrent system card.4. Remove the current system card from the first slot onthe motherboard.5. Place the pH/ORP system card into the first slot onthe motherboard.Note: All system cards slide into plastic card guides thatmay need to be gently forced open to allow thesystem card to slip into the grooves of the cardguide to hold them in place. The indicator LED willpoint to the lower section of the MegatronXS box.6. Press the new pH/ORP system card down firmly intothe slot on the motherboard.DrillHere
