You are entitledto a replacement or refund for a major failure and forcompensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss ordamage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired orreplaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and thefailure does not amount to a major failure. Where a failuredoes not amount to a major failure, Woolworths is entitled tochoose between providing you with a repair, replacement orrefund. To obtain compensation, you would need to providedocumentary evidence of the loss or damage suffered,and documentary evidence that such loss or damage wasa reasonably foreseeable consequence of a failure byWoolworths to comply with a consumer guarantee underthe Australian Consumer Law. Such evidence may includephotographs, statutory declarations, receipts or reports (egfrom your doctor), depending on the loss or damage.In addition to all rights and remedies to which you may be2.entitled under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010(Commonwealth) and any other relevant legislation, themanufacturer warrants this product to be free from defectsin materials or workmanship for a period of 12 months fromthe date of purchase.In order to claim under this warranty you will need to bring3.the product to any Woolworths store, along with proof ofpurchase (typically this will be a receipt). Any cost incurredby you in bringing the product to the service desk will beborne by you.
