1 Connect the Gateway to a ComputerStep 3 Plug the smaller endof the Power Cord into theBlack Port marked “Power” onthe back of the Gateway.Step 4 Plug the larger end ofthe Power Cord into a PowerOutlet.Step 1 Get the Wireless DSLGateway from your DSLQuick Start Kit.Step 2 Get the Black Bagand remove the Power Cordfrom the bag.Wireless DSL GatewayPower CordPowerCordBlack PortStep 10 Get the Green DSLCable out of the Black Bag.Step 11 Plug one end of theGreen Cable into the GreenPort on the back of theGateway.Step 5 Confirm the PowerLight on the Gateway is SOLIDGreen.This may take 30 seconds.Power Light on Wireless DSL GatewayStep 13 Confirm that thePower and DSL Lights areSOLID Green. This may takeup to 60 seconds. Power & DSL Lights on Wireless DSL GatewayStep 6 Get the Yellow Cable.Step 7 Plug one end of theYellow Cable into the YellowPort on the back of theWireless DSL Gateway.Step 8 Make sure that yourcomputer is turned ON.Thenplug the other end of the YellowCable in the Ethernet Port onthe back of the computer.An Ethernet Port looks similarto a regular Phone Jack, but isslightly larger.Note: If the Ethernet Light does NOT turn green, make sure the Yellow Cable isproperly connected on both ends.Step 9 Confirm that theEthernet light on the Gatewayis Green. This may take a fewmoments. Ethernet Light on Wireless DSL GatewayStep 12 Plug the other end ofthe Green Cable into the PhoneJack closest to your computer.Note: If the DSL Light is NOT solid green, make sure you received notificationfrom your DSL Internet Service Provider that your DSL service is On.2 Install the Phone FiltersStep 1 Unplug your Telephones(or other devices) from theircurrent Phone Jacks.Step 2 Open the Clear Bagand remove the Phone Filtersfrom the bag.What are Phone Filters? Phone Filters separate the DSL signalfrom the voice signal, allowing you to talk on the telephoneand be online at the same time.All Devices with the same phone number as your DSL Linerequire Phone Filters.
