PANEL1000-370 All-in-One PANEL PC User’s ManualSystem Installation163.12 Expansion SlotThe PANEL PC 1000, this comes as a standard system feature. If thesystem comes with expansion capability, then the system includes aPCI/ISA expansion riser card to accommodate either an ISA or PCIdevice at a given time. Due to the internal space limitation, only ahalf-size expansion card can be adapted. To use the ISA or PCIexpansion, refer to the following figure and follow the installationinstructions below;1. Plug the riser card into the onboard PCI/ISA slot first.2. Screw the metal opening to the power supply bracketand the multi-I/O conversion metal piece.3. Plug either an ISA or PCI card into the ISA or PCI slot on theriser card and screw the expansion card to the metalopening piece. All the connectors of the expansion cardwill come out from the opening on the rear cover forfurther cable connection.4. Screw the rear cover to the chassis.Please also note that the total height of the system with expansionslot is 93 mm.
