System Board1-9Do not attempt the procedures described inthe following sections unless you are aqualified service technician.1.6 CPU InstallationThe system board comes with a zero-insertion force (ZIF) CPU socketfor easy installation.Follow these steps to install an Intel Pentium Pro CPU:1. Locate the CPU socket on the system board and pull up thesocket lever.2. Align pin 1 of the CPU with hole 1 of the socket. The dot on theCPU indicates pin 1.
