42English OSD MessagesProblems with the Projector# Condition Message Reminder1 Message • Fan Fail - the system fan is not working.• Projector Overheated - the projector has exceeded itsrecommended operating temperature and must be allowedto cool down before it may be used. Please check thefollowing message.Please also check the dust filters if they are installed. If thedust filter is clogged with dust, please clean it. Please refer to"Cleaning and replacing the dust filters" for details.• Replace the lamp - the lamp is about to reach its maximumlifetime. Prepare to replace it soon.# Condition Solution1 The projector stops respondingto all controlsIf possible, turn off the projector, thenunplug the power cord and wait at least 30seconds before reconnecting power.2 Lamp burns out or makes apopping soundWhen the lamp reaches the end of its usefullife, it will burn out and may make a loudpopping sound. If this happens, the projectorwill not turn on until the lamp module hasbeen replaced. To replace the lamp, followthe procedures in the "Replacing the Lamp"section.
