388. Installation8.1 HDD installation1. Please switch off the recorder and remove the recorder from the mains supply.2. Unscrew and remove the cover at the bottom side of the housing.3. Place the HDD on the inside of the cover and screw it from the bottom side.4. Connect the cables with the HDD and place the cover back on the housing.5. Screw the cover back to the device.ImportantPlease note following information:• First start of operation:- After connecting the HDD and cameras, power up the recorder by connecting the powersupply.- Set as first the correct date and time (MAIN MENU Æ CONFIGURATION Æ TIME/DATE).- Then you have to format the HDD (MAIN MENU Æ CONFIGURATION Æ HDDMANAGEMENT Æ FORMAT).- Your 4-channel MJPEG DVR LAN is now ready for use.• Changing Time/Date- Backup your required video images.- Change the date and time (MAIN MENU Æ CONFIGURATION Æ TIME/DATE).- Then you have to format the HDD (MAIN MENU Æ CONFIGURATION Æ HDDMANAGEMENT Æ FORMAT).If this procedure or order is not adhered, data loss or incomplete recordingmay occur.
