The input rangeand each output range are independent and can be specified asrequired. This provides an economical solution when one signalmust be sent to two different devices.Typical applications include isolation, output splitting, outputdevice separation and redundancy (i.e. to prevent failure ofthe entire loop if one device fails), or a combination of these.The input signal is filtered, amplified, split, and then passedthrough an opto-coupler to the output stages. Full 4-way isola-tion (input, output 1, output 2, power) make this module usefulfor ground loop elimination, common mode signal rejection,and noise pickup reduction.Independent OutputsEach output channel is factory ranged to your specificationsand provides an optically isolated DC voltage or current outputthat is linearly related to the input. Sourcing mA outputs arestandard. Sinking milliamp or high voltage outputs are optional.IsolationThe full 4-way (input, output 1, output 2, power) isolationmakes this module useful for ground loop elimination, commonmode signal rejection or noise pickup reduction.LoopTrackerAPI exclusive features include two LoopTracker LEDs (one foreach output channel) that vary in intensity with changes in theprocess output signals.
