All working parts andvalves are guaranteed for a period of 5 years frompurchase. Decorative surface finishes and O-ringsare guaranteed for 1 year from the date of purchaseprovided that our advice concerning care has beenobserved and no scouring agents have been used.This is provided that the mixer or tap has been usedfor normal domestic purposes and that the care,installation and maintenance instructions have beenobserved. The warranty extends to the originalpurchaser only.Marks, scuffs and scratches caused by improperinstallation or accidental damage are not covered bythis guarantee. Neither are shade variations or anydamage or defect caused by incorrect installation orabuse of the fitting.As we are continuously improving and developingour range of products, finishes & colours, in theevent of a valid claim, we may not be able to providean identical replacement for the defective productthroughout the guarantee period. Where an identicalproduct is no longer available, we will supply thenearest equivalent from our then current productrange. In assessing your claim, we must be giventhe opportunity to inspect the product as installedprior to removal. Any product returns must bepackaged as received and complete.No other warranties, express or implied, are made,including merchantability or fitness for a particularpurpose. Under no circumstances shall themanufacturer be liable for any loss or damagearising from the purchase, use or inability to use thisproduct, or for any special, indirect, incidental orconsequential damages. No liability is accepted forconsequential damage to other household fixtures,fittings or furnishings arising from this claim, even ifattached to the product. No installer, dealer, agent oremployee of Abode Home Products Limited has theauthority to modify the obligations or limitations ofthis warranty.Care Instructions for your Kitchen Sink MixerTo maintain the appearance of this tap, ensure that it is regularly cleaned only using a clean, soft dampcloth. A solution of warm water and a mild liquid detergent may be used where necessary, and then thefitting rinsed thoroughly and wiped dry. Any other cleaning action will invalidate your warranty.If the mixertap has a diffuser it should be unscrewed and cleaned periodically in warm water.Abrasive cleaners, scouring cleaners and acidic cleaners must not be used under any circumstances. Avoid contactwith all solvents (including chlorinated solvents, ketones or acetones as these may result in surface deterioration oretching). Also avoid contact with any harsh household chemicals such as oven cleaners, drain cleaners, rustremovers, paint strippers and toilet bowl cleaners, bar keepers friend or Brasso.Please leave these instructions for your customer. |
