4 Model 9112i SIP User GuideSetting Your Options Setting Your OptionsPressing the I button gives youa list of configurable options.The first seven options allow you tocustomize your phone settings. Formore information, see the section"Customizing Your Phone" in theAastra 9112i Installation Guide includedwith your phone.Options 8 and 9 are generallyconsidered to be administrator leveloptions, and require a password toaccess. The Default setting underOption 10. Phone Status also requiresa password. Some options shouldonly be set up or changed by yoursystem administrator. For moreinformation, refer to the 9112iInstallation Guide or contact yoursystem administrator.Restarting Your PhoneYou may want to restart your phone tocheck for updates for your phone onthe server. You may occasionally needto restart your phone to set changes orupdates to your phone or networksettings. You may also need to restartyour phone if you have been asked todo so by your system administrator, orshould you experience anyunexpected behaviour.To restart your phone:1. Press the I button on thephone to enter the Option list.2. There are two ways you can accessyour options list:a . Use V to scroll down the list ofoptions to 10.Phone Status andpress U to select,orb. You can press 0 to jump directlyto this option.3. Press V to move to the 3. RestartPhone option,orYou can press 3 to jump directly tothis option.4. Press U to confirm and restart thephone. If you do not wish to restartyour phone, press T to cancel.NOTE: Your phone will be out of servicetemporarily during the restart anddownloading process.You can also restart your phonethrough the Aastra Web Client.
