Aastra 6757i CT Handset Reference GuideWhen in an idle state, pressing the Menu key <M> of thehandset presents the following list of options. Once in the menulist, the user can scroll up <F> and down <M> using the scrollingkeys to see each option.Note: The display returns to idle if no action/activity isinitiated within 20 seconds.Pressing the key quits the Menu and returns to theidle mode or call mode.1: Intercom - Pressing Select while viewing this optionallows an intercom call to the base phone by thenpressing Call. Press Icom on Base to call handset.2: Language - change display language3: Ring Tone - Select to change Ring Tone4: Custom Name - Personalize the name of the handset5: Call Timer - Enable or disable to time length of call6: Vibrate - Enable or disable vibration on incoming calls.Does not vibrate during intercom7: Handset pairing - See “Pairing and Unpairing”instructions8: Key Lock Off/On - Select to lock the keypad to avoidaccidental calls. Can also be activated by pressing <M>key then * when idle.9: Backlight On - Select to turn the backlight on or off10: Silent Alert On/Off - Select to activate vibrate andturn off ring tone.
