Display show “AA on”. Press ROLLS to turn off, (dis-play shows “AA off”), then press Enter to save.F4 – Auto Power Off (Factory setting is “on”)With “F4” on display, press TOTAL. Display show “AP on”. Factory settingsare now reset.F6 – Average Piece Weight (APW) adjustmentIf many denominations count high/low, you should re-calibrate the MC-2000 (F1),instead of adjusting individual average piece weights. Factory settings for denomi-nations are as follows. It is extremely unlikely that you will ever need to make anyalterations. Display shows “C1”, which means “coins, 1 cent”. UseROLLS key to scroll through coins (C1, C5, C10, C25, C100), bills (b1, b5, b10, b20, b50,b100), coin rolls (r1, r5, r10, r25, r100).Once you have selected the proper currency, press TOTAL. The current average pieceweight (in grams) will be displayed. Press BILLS to increase APW, press TOTAL to de-crease APW. Press COINS to move left, press ROLLS to move right. Press Enter to save.Press Clear to return to “F6”.Example of an easy method to fine tune your average piece weight: Hand count & place 100each $1 bills on the scale in the gram mode, weigh the 100 bills (example 98.8 grams totalweight), divide total weight by 100 (example .9880 grams). Access F6, trim the b1 setting to0.9880. Now recheck money count accuracy.
