The boxes are made from recycledpaper and should be returned to theold paper collection.Dispose of your old appliance!When you eventually stop using yourappliance please bring it to the nearestrecycling centre or to your dealer whowill take it back for a small fee.Operating instructionsThe blender can be used for mixing liq-uids, crushing ice, chopping, grindingand grating of fruits and vegetables,whipping cream etc.Assembling the blenderTo use the blender start by assemblingthe jar, then place the jar on the motorbase as described below.0 Place the rubber sealing ring on theblade assembly (fig 2).0 Position the blade assembly on theinside of the jar (fig 3). Turn it anti-clockwise to lock it tightly into posi-tion. Important: There is a risk ofinjury!0 Position the jar on the base and turn itclockwise to lock it into position(fig 4).0 Position the lid on the jar and turn itclockwise to lock it into position(fig 5).3 Thanks to the 2-way safety system it isonly possible to operate the blenderwhen the jar and the lid are located inthe proper position (fig 4 and 5). Seealso „2-way safety system“.Operating the blender3 Always place the blender on a flat,clean and non-slippery surface beforeoperating it.0 Open the lid (fig 1/B) and add all nec-essary ingredients to the blender jar.Replace the lid and the pouring holecover. Important: Do not exceed themaximum capacity!3 Additional ingredients may be addedthrough the pouring hole while theblender is operating. Always replacethe pouring hole lid to avoid splashing.0 Start the blender by pressing one ofthe speed buttons (fig 1/J) or the Pulsebutton (fig 1/K).3 It is advisable to start at speed setting1 and then increase to speed 2 or 3.Pushing the Pulse button will operatethe blender at the highest speed set-ting.0 When the blending is finished, turn thejar anti-clockwise and lift it off thebase. Then turn the lid anti-clockwiseas well and remove the lid. Pour theingredients out through the spout.1 Do not operate the blender longer than2 minutes. After each the 2 minutesession the blender must be allowed tocool down for at least 10 minutes.
