Wall Mounting the UnitInstructions for Wall Mounting Total Access 900e SeriesStep Action1 Attach the wallmount brackets to the unit using the supplied screws.2 Decide on a location for the Total Access 900e Series. Keep in mind that the unit needs to bemounted at or below eye level so that the LEDs are visible.Warning! Do not mount the chassis with the LEDs facing up (see Figure 6).3 Prepare the mounting surface by attaching a board (typically plywood, 3/4-inch to 1-inch thick)to a wall stud. Important! Mounting to a stud ensures stability. Using sheetrock anchors maynot provide sufficient long-term stability.4 Have an assistant hold the unit in position as you install two 3/32-inch up to 1/8-inch(1 1/ 2-inch or greater length) wood screws through the unit’s brackets and into the mountedboard.5 Proceed Grounding Instructions on page 29.Step 1: Prepare themounting surface byattaching a board(typically plywood, 3/4"to 1" thick) to the wall.(The board must beattached to a stud inthe wall for stability.)Step 2: Wallmount theTotal Access 900e Seriesunit using two 3/32" to1/8" (1 1/2" or greater inlength) wood screws.LEDs Pointing DownLEDs Pointing Sideways
