To access the VCOMMODULE menus and submenus, use the keyboard arrow keys to scroll to theappropriate row and column; then, press Enter on the keyboard.M ODULES The following paragraphs describe the MODULES menus of the ATLAS 550.S LT Read Security: 5Displays the number of available slots in the ATLAS 550 chassis. SLOT 0refers to the ATLAS 550 Base Unit.TYPE Write Security: 3; Read Security: 5Displays the module type currently installed in the slot or the module typeyou plan to install in the slot. If a VCO MModule is installed, the TYPE fieldautomatically defaults to VCOM (the VCOM Module). Alternatively, youcan use this field to preconfigure the system before installing a module byspecifying the module type that will be installed into each slot.MENU Read Security: 5Displays additional status and configuration menus and submenus for var-ious modules. To access the VCOM Module (VCOM), use the arrow keys toscroll over to the MENU column and down to VCOM; then press Enter. (Adiscussion of the submenu items for this option begins with VCOM Menuson page 3-5.)ALARM Read Security: 5Indicates any alarm conditions on the VCOM Module. Press Enter in thisfield to open the A LARM menu.TEST Read Security: 5Indicates when the VCOM Module is executing a test. Press Enter in thisfield to open the TEST menu.Refer to the ATLAS 550 User Manual for detailed instructions onnavigating through the terminal menus.If a module is installed, TYPE automatically displays the name ofthe installed module. To change this name, set TYPE to E MPTY andthen select another module.
