www.acti.comTCM-1111 Hardware User’s Manual11How to Do the Waterproof InstallationThe following installation procedure makes the camera be water-resistant even for thesituations where the camera can easily be flooded by pouring rain.The important part to focus on during the installation:The protection of the cabling has to be done by a proper flexconduit. The size of the flex conduit that matches with theconduit gland is 1/2”. Please note that the conduit gland isincluded to the package of the bullet camera.The following images show the step-by-step procedure ofcompleting the water-proof installation.1. Disassemble the conduit gland asshown on the photo.2. Pull the network cable through the flexconduit. Please note that the size of theconduit and the gland is big enough to letthe RJ-45 connector pass through all theway.3. Two pieces from the conduit gland setwill be attached to flex conduit first.
