While this information can be useful in case of disasterrecovery, it should not be used to manipulate directly the file stored on the backupserver. Doing so may lead to inconsistencies in the backup server management andresult in turning the archives unusable through backup server or even directly. The EBaSrvDB.exe tool has to be executed on the same machine where the BackupServer resides. The generated XML file can be located anywhere as long as theEBaSrvDB.exe tool has the write access to it.If a file with the same name already exists at the target location, it will be overwrittenwithout any warnings.16.1.7 Tdbrepair.exe tool: rescan tapes and add information to Acronistape databaseSyntax:tdbrepair.exe /The purpose of the Tdbrepair.exe tool is to rescan tapes and add tape information intoAcronis tape database. It is necessary when Acronis True Image Echo cannotrecognize any Acronis Tape Plugin backups on tapes, though the archive is mountedin the RSM Import Media pool. The reason for this is when you are trying torestore\validate an archive spanned over two or more tapes made by earlier versions
