You will findthe necessary information in section “Prerequisites for the mounting site and instal-lation” on page 8.• Check the measurements on the drilling template before you mark and drill theholes using the template.WARNING!Consider leaving the final installation to a qualified and authorized elec-trical contractor: Should malfunctions occur that can be shown to haveresulted from improper mounting and installation, all guarantee and war-ranty provisions will become void. Proof of proper installation (e.g. bysubmitting the relevant invoices) must be furnished on request beforeguarantee and warranty provisions come into effect.Warranty and guarantee provisionsABL provides the legally prescribed guarantee period as well as a warranty of the sameduration for the country in which the product was purchased. Should the product beoperated in another country, the legal provisions of the country of purchase apply nev-ertheless: Under no circumstances are guarantees or the warranty transferable.Should modifications of any kind have been made to the product that have not beenexplicitly authorized by ABL or described in the guidelines for authorized service part-ners, the manufacturer’s warranty obligations become void with immediate effect.On-site repairs are generally excluded by the manufacturer. In case of disregard of thisprovision, all guarantee and warranty provisions become void with immediate effect.WARNING!Should problems occur when operating your product, please contactyour local distributor immediately and clarify whether the malfunc-tion is covered by guarantee or warranty provisions.Do not under any circumstances make alterations or repairs to your prod-uct yourself!ABL guarantees the proper operation of the product after delivery within the applica-ble legal guarantee provisions. This guarantee is limited to damage that can be shownto have resulted from normal use and obvious material or manufacturing defects. Insuch cases the manufacturer, in collaboration with the local distributor, will attemptto restore the proper functioning of the product. The customer will be responsible forcovering any arising transport costs.However, the manufacturer further rejects any damage claims that can be shown tohave resulted from improper use, neglect or modifications, from repair attempts byunauthorized persons or force majeure.Any assumed guarantees, including a guarantee of marketability or suitability for spe-cific uses are restricted to the warranty period.
