Installation checklist and start-up101Installation checklist and start-upWhat this chapter containsThis chapter contains an installation checklist, a start-up procedure for the drive, andlistings of parameters specific to the ACS800-37.Installation checklistCheck the mechanical and electrical installation of the drive before start-up. Gothrough the checklist below together with another person.WARNING! Only qualified electricians are allowed to commission the drive. Readand follow the Safety instructions on the first pages of this manual. Neglecting thesafety instructions can cause injury or death.Check…MECHANICAL INSTALLATIONThe ambient operating conditions are allowed. See Electrical installation, Technical data: IEC ratings or Ambientconditions.The unit is fixed properly to floor. See Mechanical installation.The cooling air will flow freely.ELECTRICAL INSTALLATION See Planning the electrical installation, Electrical installation.The motor and the driven equipment are ready for start.The EMC filter (option +E202) is disconnected if the drive is connected to an IT (ungrounded) system.The drive is grounded properly.The supply (input power) voltage matches the nominal input voltage of the drive.The supply (input power) connection to the input terminals are OK.Appropriate supply (input power) fuses and disconnector are installed.The motor connections at the output terminals are OK.The motor cable is routed away from other cables.Settings of the auxiliary voltage transformer.There are no power factor compensation capacitors in the motor cable.The external control connections inside the drive are OK.There are no tools, foreign objects or dust from drilling inside the drive.Supply (input power) voltage cannot be applied to the output of the drive (with a bypass connection).
