3e-525A Outdoor Access Point24 29000132-001 ADynamic key management requires the installation of the 3e-030Security Server software which resides on a self-contained workstationconnected to the 3e-525A over the WAN port. The Security Server soft-ware configuration includes: obtaining a root certificate from a CertificateAuthority (CA) like Microsoft; obtaining user certificates based on the CAwhich will be used by the clients; and configuring the 3e TechnologiesInternational's Security Server software with the appropriate root certifi-cate. The Security Server software application is discussed in a separatemanual.If you have installed the Security Server software, Dynamic KeyManagement is the preferred security setup. Get the IP Address andpassword of the Security Server and the Key type. Key type will be either3DES (192-bit), or AES (128-bit, 192-bit or 256-bit). Thereafter, the SecurityServer handles authentication dynamically.Once you have selected the options you will use, click Apply.If you have the 3e-525A configured in non-FIPS mode, the securityscreens will look a bit different.No Encryption (non-FIPS)In order to the 3e-525A with no encryption, you must actively selectNone and click Apply. A screen will appear, asking if you really want tooperate in Bypass mode. If you answer Yes, no encryption will be applied.
