Page 322: Replace photosensitive drumWhen the photosensitive drum is near the end of its service life, the engine control panel will show thefollowing information.Message MeasureReady for printing Preparephotosensitive drum: X*1The photosensitive drum showed does not need to be replaced immediately but pleaseprepare a new one. The current one can print another 7,500*2 steps.Ready for printing Replacephotosensitive drum: X*1The photosensitive drum showed shall be replaced immediately. The current one canprint another 2,300*2 pages. Please prepare a new one.Please replace photosensitivedrum X*1The photosensitive drum is near the end of its service life. The printer stops printing.Replace the photosensitive drum showed in the message by following the "replacingsteps".Ready for printing Replacephotosensitive drum X*1When the photosensitive drum is near the end of its service life, you select [continueprinting] *3 in the [photosensitive drum is at the end of its service life] and it willshow this information. Although you can continue printing for a period of time, butwe cannot guarantee the printing quality. We recommend you to replace the newphotosensitive drum.*1: In actual display, X will be replaced by R1 （K）, R2 （C）, R3 （M） or R4 （Y）. R1 to R4 is the name of thephotosensitive drum. When you are facing the printer, from left to right in the printer, there is black (K), cyan (C),magenta (M) and yellow (Y) photosensitive drum.*2: The amount of the printing pages of each consumable varies with actual printing request, printing file, time interval ofpower on/off and the temperature and humidity of the installation environment of the printer.*3: Under such circumstance, the display screen will still show [ready for printing-replace photosensitive drum:X]. Whenthe printer detects abnormal condition of the photosensitive drum, it will stop the printing to protect the printer.8-2-2Turn the unlocking control lever on the cover of thephotosensitive drum anticlockwise.8-1-5Hold the toner cartridge with the arrow up and push it inslowly tillit is fully clipped in.8-1-6Close the front cover.8-2-1Confirm the printer is not in running and open the front cover. |
