Ensure electrical box is rigidlysecured to wall using structural support orclamps, anchors, or fittings identified for theapplication. (See Figure 2).ConnectionsConnect the Orange, Yellow and Green wiresfrom the SM-VC to the Remote Volume Controlconnection on the Amplifier.(See Figure 1). Orange connects to the V+ Yellow connects to the R Green connects to the V-Standard 24 gauge CAT5 UTP wire may be usedbetween the amplifier and the SM-VC, up to amaximum of 1000 feet.TECHNICAL ASSISTANCEWhen trouble is reported, verify there are nobroken connections. If a spare unit is available,substitute a spare unit for the suspecteddefective unit.Assistance in troubleshooting is available fromthe factory.
