When the area is armed, you must enter the premisesthrough a designated entry door to prevent an instant alarmcondition. Opening the delay door starts a 30 second delayduring which the Zone Control sounds a warning to remind youto disarm the system. To disarm the system, enter your personalpasscode before the entry time expires. If you enter through awrong door or fail to disarm the system before the entry delayexpires, you will generate an alarm.Silencing the AlarmYour alarm audible device sounds for a specific period of timebefore it shuts off automatically. If an alarm occurs and you wantto silence the alarm, simply enter your personal passcode andthe audible device shuts off.IMPORTANTSome security systems do not permit the D269Independent Zone Control to silence the alarm. The alarmmust be silenced from a different control station in yoursystem.My system can be silenced from the D269 IndependentZone Control Station.My system must be silenced from the control stationlocated:User Programmable Passcode (Optional)Your Model D269 Independent Zone Control provides you withthe convenient feature of changing your personal passcodewhenever you feel it necessary.
