Have an electrician verify that the TV'soutlet is properly wired.Ifthe symptom persists, have theTVserviced by a qualified authorized technician.• Topreventthespreadoffire, keepcandles®orotheropen flames awayfromthisproduct atalltimes•ACPower SupplyCordToprevent fireorelectric shock:• The Plasma TVisdesignedtooperateona 120 V AC,60Hzservice.Insert the power cord plugasfarasitwillgo intothewall socket.Ifthe plug is not fully inserted, heat may generate, whichcould cause a fire.• Theincluded powercordisforusewith this unitonly.•Donotuse any power cord other than that providedwiththisTV.•Donothandlethe power cord plugwithwethands.• Donot doanythingthatmightdamage the powersupply cord.• Whendisconnecting the powersupplycord,hold theplug,notthe cord.•Donotuse the power supply cordifthe plugorcord isdamaged .Replace the cord or contact your Authorized Service Center.• Donotuse a 3-prongto2-prong ACplug adapterstoconnectyourTV'splugtothe wall outlet.Doing so will defeat the TV plug's safety feature, whichcan lead to a shock hazard. If the wall outlet does notaccommodate a 3-prong plug, have a qualified electricianreplace your outlet and check the associated wiring .• Handling the power supply cord• Insert the power plug fully into the socket outlet. (If thepower plugisloose,itcould generate heat and cause fire.)• Ensurethatthe power plugiseasily accessible.• Ensure theearth pin on the power plug issecurelyconnectedtoprevent electrical shock.• An apparatus with CLASS I construction shall beconnected to a power socket outlet with a protectiveearthing connection.• Donot touch the power plug withawethand. (Thismaycause electrical shock.)• Donotuse any power cord other than that providedwith thisTV. (This may cause fireorelectricalshock.)• Donotdamage the power cord . (A damaged cord maycause fireorelectrical shock.)• Do not move the TV with t he cord pluggedin the socket outlet.• Do not place a heavy obje ct on the cord or place the co rdnear a high-temperature object.• Do not twist the cord, bend it excessively, or stretch it.• Do not pull on the cord. Hold onto the power plug bodywhen disconnecting cord.• Do not use a damaged power plug or socket outlet.•Ifa problem occurs (such as no pictureor no sound),or ifsmoke oran abnormal odor is detected from thePlasma TV, unplug the power supply cord immediately.Continued use of the TV under these conditions mightcause a fire or permanent damage to the TV. Have the TVevaluated by an Authorized Service Center. Servicing of th eTV by unauthorized personnel is strongly discouraged dueto its high voltage.•Ifwateroranobject gets inside thePlasmaTV,ifthePlasma TVisdropped,oriftheenclosurebecomesdamaged,unplug the powersupplycordimmediately.A short-circuit may occur, which could cause a fire. Contactan Authorized Service Center for an evaluation.I~CAUTION I•Donotcover theventilationholes.Doing so may cause the Plasma TV to overheat, which cancause a fire or damage to the PlasmaTV.• Leave aspaceof315/16"(10 em)ormoreatthe top,leftand right, and2 3/4" (7 em)ormore at the rear.• Whenusing thepedestal, keepthespacebetweenthebottomoftheTVandthepedestalorstand surfaceclearfrom objects thatmayobstructventilation.• When Moving thePlasma TV• Besuretodisconnectall cables beforemoving thePlasma TV.Moving the TV with its cables attached might damage thecables which, in turn, can cause fire or electric shock.• Toprevent an electric shock,disconnectthepowerplug from the walloutletas a safety precaution beforecarryingoutanycleaning.•Transportonly in uprightposition.Transporting the unit with its display panel facing upright ordownward may cause damage to the internal circuitry.•Usingadrycloth,cleanany dustfrom the power supplycord and plugregularly.Build-upofdust on the power cord plug can increasehumidity, which might damage the insulation and cause afire.ThisPlasmaTVradiates infrared rays;therefore, it may affect other infrared communicationequipment. Install your infrared sensor in a place away fromdirect or reflected light from your Plasma TV.The TVwill still consume some power aslongas thepower supply cord isconnectedto the wall outlet.• Display panelismadeofglass. Donotapply strongforceorimpacttothe displaypanel.This may cause damage resulting in injury.• The TVisheavy.
