English - 10 -Initial Setup WizardNote: Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the initialsetup process. Use the directional buttons and the OK buttonon the remote to select, set, confirm and proceed.When turned on for the first time, a welcome screenwill be displayed. Select your language and pressOK. Follow the on-screen instructions to setup yourTV and install channels. The installation wizard willguide you through the setup process. You can performinitial setup anytime using the Reset option in theSettings>Device Preferences menu. You can accessthe Settings menu from the Home screen or from theTV options menu in Live TV mode.1. Welcome Message and Language Selection“Welcome” message will be displayed along withthe language selection options listed on the screen.Select the desired language from the list and pressOK to continue.2. Initial SetupAfter the language selection you can start the initialsetup wizard. Highlight Continue and press OK toproceed. You will not be able go back and change thelanguage once you proceed. If you need to changethe language after this step you will have to switchthe TV into standby mode so the setup process startsfrom the beginning when you next switch on the TV. Inorder to do this, press and hold the Standby button. Adialogue will be displayed. Highlight OK and press OK.3. Search for accessoriesA search for accessories will be performed afterthe initial setup has started. Follow the on-screeninstructions to pair your remote control (depends onthe model of the remote control) and other wirelessaccessories with your TV. Press Back/Return buttonto end adding accessories and proceed.4. Quick SetupIf you didn’t priorly connect your TV to the internet viaEthernet a screen will be displayed where you cantransfer your Android phone’s WLAN network andGoogle Account to your TV. Highlight Continue andpress OK to proceed. Follow the on-screen instructionson your TV and your phone to complete the process.You can also skip this step by selecting Skip option.Some steps may be skipped depending on the settingsmade in this step.If you did priorly connect your TV to the internet viaEthernet a message will be displayed stating that youare connected. You can choose to continue with wiredconnection or change the network. Highlight Changenetwork and press OK if you want to use wirelessconnection instead of wired connection.5. Network ConnectionYou will be directed to the next step automatically, if youconnect your TV to internet via Ethernet at this point. Ifnot, available wireless networks will be searched andlisted on the next screen. Select your WLAN networkfrom the list and press OK to connect. Enter thepassword using the virtual keyboard if the network ispassword protected. Select the Other network optionfrom the list, if the network that you want to connecthas hidden SSID.If you prefer not to connect to the internet at this pointyou can skip this step by selecting Skip option. Youcan connect to internet later using the Network &Internet menu options in the Settings menu fromthe Home Screen or from the TV options menu inLive TV mode.This step will be skipped if internet connection hasbeen established in the previous step.6. Sign in to your Google accountIf connection succeeds, you can sign in to your Googleaccount on the next screen. You need to be signed into a Google account in order to use Google services.This step will be skipped if no internet connection hasbeen established in the previous step or if you alreadysigned in to your Google account in Quick Setup step.By signing in, you will be able to discover newapps for videos, music and games on Google Play;get personalised recommendations from apps likeYouTube; buy or rent the newest movies and shows onGoogle Play Movies & TV; access your entertainmentand control your media. Highlight Sign In and pressOK to proceed. Sign-in options are as following:• Use your phone or computer: You can use abrowser on your phone or computer to sign in.Highlight this option and press OK button. A codewill be displayed on the TV screen. Make sure yourphone or computer is on the same network as yourTV. Open the given website (androidtv.com/setup,follow on-screen instructions for the up-to-datewebsite url) in your phone’s or computer’s browserand enter the code you see on your TV screen intothe related entry field. Then follow the instructionson your device and complete the process.• Use your remote: Using this option you can sign in toyour Google account by entering your e-mail addressor phone number and your password.If you prefer not to sign in to your Google account at thispoint you can skip this step by selecting Skip option.7. Terms of ServiceTerms of Service screen will be displayed next. Bycontinuing, you will agree to the Google Terms ofService, the Google Privacy Policy and the GooglePlay Terms of Service.
