(For United Kingdom)(“EB” area code model only)For your safety, please read the following text carefully.The wire which is coloured BROWN must be con¬nected to the terminal in the plug which is marked withthe letter L or coloured RED.This appliance is supplied with a moulded three pinmains plug for your safety and convenience.A 5-ampere fuse is fitted in this plug.Should the fuse need to be replaced please ensure thatthe replacement fuse has a rating of 5-ampere and thatit is approved by ASTA or BSI to BS1362.Check for the ASTA mark <%> or the BSI mark ^ on thebody of the fuse.If the plug contains a removable fuse cover you mustensure that it is refitted when the fuse is replaced.If you lose the fuse cover the plug must not be useduntil a replacement cover is obtained.A replacement fuse cover can be purchased from yourlocal dealer.CAUTION!IF THE FITTED MOULDED PLUG ISUNSUITABLE FOR THE SOCKET OUTLET INYOUR HOME THEN THE FUSE SHOULD BEREMOVED AND THE PLUG CUT OFF ANDDISPOSED OF SAFELY.THERE IS A DANGER OF SEVERE ELECTRI¬CAL SHOCK IF THE CUT OFF PLUG IS IN¬SERTED INTO ANY 13-AMPERE SOCKET.If a new plug is to be fitted please observe the wiringcode as shown below.If in any doubt please consult a qualified electrician.IMPORTANTThe wires in this mains lead are coloured in accordancewith the following code:Blue: NeutralBrown: LiveAs the colours of the wires in the mains lead of thisappliance may not correspond with the coloured mark¬ings identifying the terminals in your plug, proceed asfollows:The wire which is coloured BLUE must be connected tothe terminal in the plug which is marked with the letterN or coloured BLACK.Under no circumstances should either of these wires beconnected to the earth terminal of the three pin plug,marked with the letter E or the Earth Symbol i.Before useRemove the connector cover as follows.How to replace the fuse1.
